Find the department
your entry fits under. Place the letter that corresponds to that
department under DEPARTMENT on the Pre-Registration Form. Make
sure that you use the correct department for each individual entry.
2. Departments D, E, F, and G are broken down into
DIVISIONS. (If you have an entry in departments B or C you will leave the DIVISION column
blank.) Find the division that your exhibit fits into.
Example: If you are an adult entering an exhibit in the Needlework
department, you would put a D under
department and an AA under
division.

3.Next, you need to choose a
CLASS. Look through the DEPARTMENT you are entering an exhibit in and find the
class
number that best fits your entry. Once you find the class
number, write that number under CLASS.
Example: If
you are entering pink roses, you would first go to the Floriculture
Department. Put a B under DEPARTMENT. Leave the DIVISION
column blank because this department does not have divisions. Put
a 1 under CLASS because Class 1 is Flowers.

4.Once you find the class, you must choose a
LOT NUMBER. Under the class you have chosen, find the LOT NUMBER
that most closely matches your entry. Place the lot number
in the LOT column and WRITE the lot description in the
ARTICLE column.
Example: If
you are entering canned peaches, you would put a G under DEPARTMENT
because canning is in the Culinary Department. Then you would put
a B under DIVISION since it is Canned, and a 2 under CLASS because you
have a Canned Fruit. Finally you would put an 8 under LOT and
write Peaches in the ARTICLE column.

5.Repeat the above steps for each of you entries!
